I may not be a giant sports fan- football is something I watch once a year, during Super Bowl, for the commercials- but I can certainly appreciate the energy surrounding it! Football fans are passionate about their teams, and live on the edges of their seats, whilst shouting (a lot), during each and every game. They’re also always decked out in their team’s colors and logos- which is definitely something I can get behind! Hip Hip Hooray! The Husband and I just closed on our very first house! (the one with the wreath on the door!) We’re venturing all the way from Center City to South Philly (for those of you who don’t live here, it’s right around the corner, haha) in a place that is all ours- which is super exciting. It has a teeny tiny concrete block of a backyard (which is pretty awesome for city living) that we plan on getting a little table and grill for, and we want to put a bench and plants in the front, and … okay, I’m getting a bit ahead of myself. Hello, September! I have mixed feelings about this month. It means Fall is just around the corner (which is my fave!) and it means the anniversary of the first time the Husband and I met/had our first date/officially started dating, but it’s also the anniversary of losing my mom. Now on top of the current plethora of important dates during the month, we are adding buying a house and moving in to the mix. September is QUITE a busy and emotional month!
