We (fingers crossed!) close on the house this Friday! Our official move date is September 16th, but we’ll probably start bringing some things over early and doing a little work there. We’ll also be super busy packing – yeah, I’m still not done – and cleaning and moving, and then unpacking and cleaning and settling in over the course of the next month. Project: DIY Mini Sketch Book (or Notebook!)
A few weeks back, I found myself in one of my greatest inspiration stores. Nope, not the fabric store, or the craft store, or even the art store- Home Depot! Seriously, I love it there. We were visiting my Dad for the weekend and painting my childhood bedroom a sunny shade of pale golden yellow. While browsing the paint aisles, I decided to grab a few different paint chip swatches, knowing when I had the time I would be able to find a fun little project to use them for. My Etsy Picks: Needle Arts
I heart needle art! Whether it’s crochet or knit, cross stitch or embroidery, I love it. Especially lately! Something about the end of summer/beginning of fall puts me in a super crochet-y mood. Their owners come home this weekend, so I’ll have to say goodbye to the three furbabies I was taking care of all summer. I’ll miss these guys! Especially Biggie (pictured last)- he was such a quiet sweet little guy! He’s also a foster, so if anyone in the Philly area is looking for a kitty- he can be yours! Then I can visit him again! Yay!
