Project: DIY Hair Combs From Brooches

When I got engaged, I immediately began thinking of all the things I could DIY for the wedding. I thought about all the money we could save if I made it all myself- decorations, invitations, and even all the gifts. Oh the gifts. The many, many gifts. I of COURSE didn’t think about the stress it would cause me trying to get it all done! Ah well, c’est la vie. While hunting for brooches for my bridesmaids (to turn in to hair combs) that somewhat matched the theme was a sometimes-grueling-3-month-long task, the actual making them part was very easy! Recipe: Maple Walnut Pecan Chicken

I love a good baked chicken recipe- especially one that only takes 30 minutes to make! My friend (hey Hoffff!) made it for me a few years ago and I loved it. The following week I made it for my husband and he loved it. Then I made it for my Dad and Sister a few weeks after that and they loved it. Then my Dad made it for my Aunt and well- you can see where this is going. It’s obviously a winner in our family- and hopefully it will be in yours too!
