Maybe it’s the several feet of snow keeping us inside the house, or maybe it’s just that time of year- but the Husband and I have mega wanderlust right now! Wordless Wednesday: Boardwalk
As mentioned yesterday in my National Chocolate Day post, Husband and I went away for a long weekend to celebrate our one-year-married-anniversary. We headed to Atlantic City where we enjoyed free rooms, penny slots, lots of hot chocolates and coffees with Bailey’s while playing said slots, a couple gorgeous days walking the boardwalk and an extensive (and expensive) AC Outlets shopping trip. You wouldn’t think late October would be so nice on the shore, but it was so warm outside we couldn’t even handle wearing our jackets. Moving Day Is Here!
Tomorrow morning, bright and early, the movers will be here! That of course means the next 20 hours will be filled with trying to get two days worth of work in, and cleaning and packing til there is nothing left since we’ve officially run out of time! Ahh! Then it’s off to the new place, where I’m certain unpacking will be even more exhausting! That’s why I’m taking a little break…
Last weekend, I took a lovely 4 night trip to Louisiana with the Husband and our two friends. I’d never been to New Orleans before and was quite looking forward to it. We had a great time walking around, taking in the sites and eating pretty much every couple hours! (We couldn’t resist- the food was just amazing!)
